- I finished my MA in History today!! I did my defense and it went swimmingly......graduation, May 10!
- I went to a Cardinals game tonight and they won 11-1!! It was my first time inside the new Busch Stadium and it's beeeautiful, though some of the concourse shops/activities, etc are a tad crass and over commercialized.....can people not just go to a baseball game anymore for the BASEBALL??? I didn't leave my seat once ;)
- Susan Bordo who wrote my favorite book in the whole world is going to be a keynote speaker this fall at a philosophy conference at SIUE. My prof has suggested I submit a paper for presentation.
- I am going to another baseball game tomorrow.
- must sleep!

Hi, Kate! It's Mez. I want to congratulate you for getting your master's in history! What a huge and admirable accomplishment. One for which you undoubtedly sweat many drops of blood and many even spilled a few tears. Just wanted to say that.
